Questions &
Answers

Warranty, shipping, payment, build time and service — everything you might want to know before ordering.

The watches

Are the watches mechanical?

Most are — automatic movements (Seiko NH35/NH34/NH72) that wind themselves as you wear them. A few chronograph builds use a quartz VK63/VK64 movement; the movement is always listed on the watch page.

Is it Chinese?

Yes, like most watch parts globally. Movements are licensed Swiss/Japanese calibers assembled in China. Every watch is assembled, regulated and tested by me in Prague.

Are the watches water resistant?

Water resistance differs from build to build and depends on the case and gaskets used. Ask before you swim or shower with one — I will tell you what the specific build can take.

Ordering & build time

Can you build a watch for me?

Absolutely! Parts cost ~100–200 USD for an automatic + assembly. Pick a base in the gallery or the configurator and send me a message to discuss.

How long does a build take?

Typically 2–6 weeks including parts delivery from Asia. Watches marked "Available" are already built and can go out right away.

Can I return a custom build?

Ready-built watches from the gallery can be returned within 14 days, as EU consumer law allows. A watch built to your own specification is made just for you, so the 14-day return does not apply to it — your statutory warranty still does. See the Terms for details.

Payment

How do I pay?

Once we agree on the watch, you get an order confirmation and pay by bank transfer. When we meet in person in Prague, cash is fine too.

What currency are prices in?

Prices on the site are in Czech crowns (CZK).

Shipping & handover

Can I pick the watch up in person?

Yes — handover in Prague by appointment, which is also a good chance to size the bracelet on your wrist.

Do you ship?

Yes, within the Czech Republic and the EU. The shipping method and cost are agreed with each order, and every watch ships insured.

Warranty & service

What warranty do I get?

Consumers get the statutory 24-month warranty from the day they receive the watch. It covers the movement and defects in parts and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear (straps, scratches on the crystal or case), impact damage or water damage beyond what the build is rated for.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Write to me through the contact form with a description of the problem (a photo or short video helps). I will tell you how to get the watch to me.

Do you service watches after the warranty?

Yes — regulation, bracelet sizing, strap changes and movement replacement on watches I built. Get in touch and I will quote the job.
